This townhouse is located in Benamargosa, a typical working village famous for the cultivation of citrus fruits and avocados. There are two supermarkets in the village, a range of other small shops, bars and restaurants, and an open air swimming pool. Velez-Málaga, with its good shopping facilities and Torre del Mar, with its beaches and busy nightlife are both about 20 minutes drive away. Málaga city is approximately an hours´ drive.
This large traditional Spanish townhouse is located in a small square in the centre of the village. Via the front door there are three rooms leading off each other - ideally to be made into the living room. Beyond this there is a kitchen, a bathroom and an additional small room. Via a staircase you reach the first floor. Through a sitting room you enter into another kitchen, beyond which are a second bathroom and three bedrooms, two of which are spacious. Around the corner from the main entrance to the house is a separate apartment with four rooms and a patio. In addition there is a further room with a separate entrance which could be used by either the main house or the apartment.
This is the oldest house in the village. The ground floor of the main house requires some improvements, whereas the first floor needs renovation (subject to the necessary planning permits). The apartment has been renovated but a kitchen and bathroom need to be installed. With further investment this house could be restored to all its former glory as one of the most beautiful of the village. The main house and the apartment are available separately.
